The Favors

I've been thinking for awhile about what to present to my guests as the perfect wedding favor. Did I want something edible? Something practical and useful? Cute or elegant? To follow or not to follow the color scheme? The other day I had a brainstorm. Since we are having a summer wedding and one of our colors is yellow, I thought it would be cute to give lemonade favors! But not lemonade in those little packets; I want to put together little glass jars of lemonade (enough to make 2 qts) tied with a pink ribbon and a little card that has our names and wedding date on it, along with instructions on how to make the lemonade and of course a thank you to our guests for attending our wedding. I would place a jar at each place setting. Here is my inspiration:

except they would be smaller. We also really want to do a candy buffet, but since our venue does not allow outside food to be brought in I'm not sure if we will be able to. If we aren't, I'd also like to put one of these adorable lollipops at each place setting:
