Wedding Dress

I know I'm drawn to styles that are white and strapless, with a lace-up back and a chapel-length train, although these aren't requirements. I want some detailing, but I'd like most of the detail to be ruching or pleating rather than a lot of beading. I know I do not care much for the mermaid-style, pick-up skirt style, or anything too poofy. I think I will have a better idea of what looks good on me when I start trying on gowns this summer.

Veil

I'm pretty sure I want a fingertip length veil, but I'm going to have to try on different veils to find one that compliments my eventual dress. I don't want too much detailing on the veil because I don't want it to detract from my gown.

Shoes

I'm trying to decide between white and fuschia! White or ivory shoes would be the traditional route, but fuschia shoes would really make a statement and would make for some awesome pictures! I really like the peep-toe heel style, although I am already 5'6" and I don't want to be too close in height to FI (5'10")

I love the look of these (culturesnob.com) but the heel is too tall for my liking
